A&S Technical Department works alongside external engineering teams having extensive experience in the automotive industry: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software design.
The engineering design involves a preliminary phase of product engineering, which is the result of a joint effort between a number of companies contributing to the creation of a product.
The engineering design addresses a range of needs:
- Mechanical design:
- Two-dimensional with AUTOCAD
- 3D modelling with CATIA V5
- Electrical and pneumatic system engineering with EPLAN and AUTOCAD
- SIEMENS and ALLEN-BRADLEY software programming
Furthermore, A&S has its own dedicated in-house software – 3D Evolution – for the management (conversion) of incoming and outgoing files in an array of formats as specified in the contract.
